Reasonable hotel at an affordable price, but not for non-smokers.
Located near the Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Dome and right in the heart of Hiroshima City.
Lobby had very strong smoke smell, room facilities were dated but functional.

Great cost and location
The hotel is relatively close to the Peace Memorial Park, which contains the Peace Memorial and is close to the A-Bomb Dome. It is also a 5-minute walk away from a bus stop, from where you can take a bus from/to the Hiroshima Station and many other interesting locations. Also, if you have a JR pass, like we did, you can take the Meipuru circular bus to get to the main attractions (and the Hiroshima station) at no extra cost. The rooms are well-equipped. They even have LAN cables for old laptops that don't have Wi-Fi chips. Our floor (4F) also had vending machines, which is very convenient. The crew also helped us fill out Yamato Kuroneko waybills, which was crucial for us to send our luggage to another city.
One of my personal hygiene products disappeared mysteriously. Also, my smartphone (Android Galaxy A12) was not able to find the hotel Wi-Fi hotspot, which my laptop did. It may be due to the protocol supported by the hotel Wi-Fi router.
